Edgar Salas
Vanessa Hernandez was born in San Jose, California into a very musical family both her parents Ruben Hernandez and Bertha S. Oropeza were respected and highly talented vocalists. Vanessa began singing even before she could speak, as a child she loved dancing and singing to all genres of music. She was intially reluctant to sing with a band only making brief appearances with Chico and singing background with few bands. She was discovered singing on the dance floor of a local venue where the vocalist of the band overheard her, and at the end of the night he asked if they could work together and from there her musical journey went into high gear. Since, she has sung in various bands and has had several articles written about her in Latino LA. You can hear Vanessa on the "Round Midnight" album as she lent her voice for background vocals. She has had the pleasure of working with various artists from groups such as The Gap Band, War, El Chicano, Vision 626, Henry Mora Orchestra and many more. Vanessa is an important element to the TEASE experience with her charisma and pleasant personality, she will make you feel part of the music.
EDGAR SALAS (Bass/Background Vocals)
Edgar Salas was born and raised in South Central, Los Angeles, to a Cuban mother and Costa Rican father. Latin music was always heard in the house while, Funk, Motown, and R&B was heard in his neighborhood. His musicial journey started at the early age of 10 years old when his interest in guitar grew after seeing Elvis Presley perfrom on T.V. He joined his first band at 15, and at 20 his brother Alberto Salas formed a Christian Salsa band making Edgar play bass. Having been against it at first, Edgar fell in love with the bass guitar and has not stopped playing it since. Edgar has been fortunate and blessed to have performed with many Top Artists' ranging Salsa, Gospel, Rock, Funk, R&B, and Top 40 acts, Edgar Salas is a well rounded , versatile and open minded musician and is a driving force in TEASE and a asset to any project he's a part of.

Jose G. Nicholas born in Santa Monica, Ca and raised in Venice, Ca. He began his musical journey at age 9 when he started private piano lessons. In 1983, he became a member of "The International Supereme Council of the Order of DeMolay" who are affiliated with Masons. In 1988, he was voted "Best Musician" at Venice High School his senior year. Jose comes from a family of actors and musicians (Jose Gonzalez Gonzalez, Pedro Gonzalez Gonzalez, Clifton Collins Jr.) He completed a national tour in 1993 with recording artist Amy Arena and has writing and performance credits with punk/ska band Creeper. In 1994, debut album "Lost Dog" with 12 songs all written by him. Later, two songs were ultimately picked up by Mike Muir of Sucidal Tendencies and included on "Suicidal-Friend & Family 2" and "Infectious Grooves-Mas Borracho." In 2005, he obtained his California state contractor license and in 2007 started his own company High Definition Audio Video. He is currently a member of NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) and a registered musician with BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.). He is a multi-instrumentalist playing piano, bass, guitar, drums and tenor sax. Furthermore, a composer, producer, recording engineer, and live sound engineer. With all that Jose has obtained both musically and personally he is a key component in the TEASE experience.
